I'm sorry you lost someone you loved. Death was not part of Gods original purpose. He wants us to have perfect health and everlasting life for obedient humans. The Bible tells us at psalms 37:29 the righteous will possess the earth and they will live forever on it. John 5:28&29 I hope this will give you some comfort.
