Lexie (Stevens) Taylor

BEAVER DAM-Lexie Stevens Taylor, 98 passed away Wednesday August 10, 2016 at her daughter’s home in Owensboro.  Lexie was born in Pikeville, Kentucky to the late Roy and Nola Jane Brown Stevens.  She was a homemaker and a member of Beaver Dam Church of Christ.  She was preceded in death by her husband Richard “Dick” Taylor, her son Richard James Taylor, her sister Helen Crocker, her brothers Frank Stevens, R.C. Stevens and Leonard Stevens; 2 sons-in-law, James Reid and Mike Daniel.

Survivors include her daughters-Nancy Taylor Reid-Brown(Gary) of Georgetown, Kentucky and Sheila Taylor Daniel of Owensboro, Kentucky; her sister-Marjorie Stevens Phelan of West Windsor, New Jersey; 5 Grandchildren-Shannon Reid Shephard(Jason), Jack Reid(Susan), Neisha Daniel Blue(Lance), Alese Daniel Ferrell(Ryan). 11 Great Grandchildren-Jackson Shephard, James Shephard, Lexie Shephard, Riley Shephard, Luke Blue, Nate Blue, Taylor Reid,  Reagan Reid, Liam Treulieb,  Kensley Treulieb and Ann-Michael Ferrell.

Services are 2:00P.M. Sunday August 14, 2016 at Bevil Bros. Funeral Home in Beaver Dam with Lowell Sallee officiating.  Burial will be in Sunnyside Cemetery in Beaver Dam.  Visitation will be from 5-8:30 P.M. Saturday and from 1-2 P.M.
