BOWLING GREEN-Leo Thomas Garrett of Bowling Green, Kentucky lost his long time battle with multiple sclerosis under the care of Hospice of Southern Kentucky on December 15, 2022.
Leo was born February 10, 1957 in Livingston, Tennessee to the late L.D. Tyson Garrett and the late Oma Bartlett Garrett.
Leo was retired from the United States Air Force in which he served his country proudly. He was a die hard Detroit Lions and Kentucky Wildcat Fan.
Along with his parents he was preceded in death by a daughter, Samantha Jean, a brother, Ralph Garrett, sisters, Ella Garrett and Bernice Johnson.
Leo is survived by his daughters-Jennifer, Brandy, Whisky Lee and J.D. Garrett; three grandsons-Jackson, Noor and Wyatt; his brothers-Tyson (Lisa) Garrett, Robert (Susan) Garrett, Jerry Glenn Garrett; his sisters-Dolly Rimbey, Patty (Richard) Young, Emma Parker, Janice McDaniel and Tammy Haight; 26 nieces and nephews, several great and great great nieces and nephews and many cousins.
A memorial service will be held in the spring for family and friends at Mt. Moriah Church Cemetery.
