Hartford- William Byron “Bubby” Smith, 66, passed away at his home on Tuesday, Nov. 28, 2017. He was born in Owensboro on Sept. 1, 1951.
Bubby was a GIS Specialist with GRADD for 29 years, worked for Ohio County Fiscal Court for 2 years and installed carpet for 20 years. He was a member of Living Faith Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his father Lloyd Edward Smith.
Survivors include his wife of 46 years Anita Smith; 2 sons Jason (Michelle) Smith and Jarrod (Hillary) Smith; sisters Brenda Ritchie and Lana Bailey; mother Zelma Smith; 6 grandchildren Danyon Calloway, Shelby Smith, Chion Smith, Tye Smith, Jodeah Smith and Elijah Smith.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, Dec. 1, 2017 , at Bevil Bros. Funeral Home in Beaver Dam with Bro. James Wedding officiating. Burial will follow in Sunnyside Cemetery in Beaver Dam. Friends may visit with the family from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. Friday .
