William Leslie Culbertson

HARTFORD – William “Butch” Leslie Culbertson, 76, of Hartford passed away at his home on October 25th, 2026 under the care of Hospice of Ohio County. He was born in McHenry on March 14th, 1950 to the late Willie and Effie Austin Culbertson.

Butch served in the United States Marine Corp. He was an owner/operator of two semi-trucks. He retired after 37 years of driving for RTI.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Joyce Culbertson; grandson, Christopher Arriaga; and granddaughter, Heather Michele Pepper.

Those left to cherish his memory are his children, Shelli Culbertson, Kelli Pepper (James), Michael Culbertson, and Alexandria Smith (Chase); grandchildren, Ashley Reagan, Brandon and Matthew Arriaga, Makayla Pepper, Haley Culbertson, Haven Blankenship, and Cyrus Smith; great-grandchildren, McKinley and Jazmyne.

Services will be held Wednesday, October 28th, 2026 at 1:00 PM at Bevil Bros. Funeral Home in Beaver Dam. Friends may visit with the family from 10:00 AM until the time of service at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Sunnyside Cemetery.
