Beaver Dam- Wilford Shown, Jr. , 78, of Hooks, Texas died Wednesday June 15, 2016.
Mr. Shown was born in Daviess County June 4, 1938. He was retired from Red River Army Depot and a member of Myrtle Springs Baptist Church. He was alson a Veteran of the United States Air Force.
He is survived by his wife Barbara Sparks Shown of Hooks, Tx;two sons and one daughter-in-law; Barry and Susan Shown of Hooks, Tx; Jeff Shown of Bivins , Tx; two sisters: Leanna Hoover and Rita Pilkington; four grandchildren: Chris, Caleb, Colton and Cortney Shown; seven great grandchildren and a number of other relatives.
Visitation will be Thursday in Hooks, Tx. Local visitation will be held on Saturday, June 18, 2016, at Bevil Bros. Funeral Home in Beaver Dam from 10:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m.. A graveside service will follow at 1:00 p.m. at Sunnyside Cemetery with Brother Alton Crowe officiating.
