Wendell L Baize

OWENSBORO - Wendell L. Baize, 77, of Owensboro, Kentucky died June 16th, 2024 at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. He was born November 20th, 1946 to the late Opal Baize and Mabel Kelley Baize. He enjoyed camping and fishing with his grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Zonia Carmen, Billy Baize, Jimmy C. Baize, Dennis Baize, and Emily McDaniel and a grandchild Kevin Baize.

He is survived by his wife, Sharon Baize; children, Wendell Baize, Jr. (Chastity Ross) and Tonya Baize (Troy Holloway); grandchildren, Bridgette (Matt) Knapp, Taylor (Atlanta) Baize, Sophia Hicks, Wendy Angelica Baize, Starla Baize, Blake Thompson, and Bianca Baize; great-grandchildren, Aleah Baize, Kentley Clemons Baize, Skyler Knapp, Brentlee Simonds, Alexander Baize-Taylor, Caroline Willis, Jaylee Baize, Amora Baize, Jayden Knapp, and Kingston Lowery; his siblings, Roy Baize, Patsy Galloway, Ruby Vincent, and Marcella Nesmith.

Visitation will be Saturday, June 22nd, 2024 from 9:00 AM until 2:00 PM at Bevil Bros. Funeral Home in Beaver Dam, Kentucky. The service will begin at 2:00 PM with Bro. Terry Tarrance officiating. Burial will follow in Sunnyside Cemetery.
