W. Jean (Clark) Ferguson

ROCKPORT-W. Jean Ferguson 87, of Rockport, KY died Sunday April 21, 2019 at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital .  She was born in Penrod, Kentucky to the late George Eldon and Anglee Myers Clark.  She worked as a CNA and later as a LPN working at Professional Care Home in Hartford and Beaver Dam Nursing Home.  She was a baby doll rescuer, enjoyed quilting, she was an avid romantic novel reader, she enjoyed cooking and was a member of McHenry Church of Christ.  She was preceded in death by her husband James Claude Ferguson; 2 sisters-Linda Hoover and Evyleen Clark; 2 brothers-John Clark and Alton Clark.

Survivors include 4 sons-James Michael (Angie) Ferguson of Falls of Rough, Jamie Clark Ferguson of Louisville, Jeffrey Lee (Sheri) Ferguson of Rockport and Joseph Eldon (Mare) Ferguson of Woodburn;  1 daughter-Jackie Faye Deno of Utica; 1 sister-Betty Maude Moorman of Baldwin, Missouri; 13 grandchildren; many great and great great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services are 11:00 AM Thursday, April 25, 2019 at Bevil Bros. Funeral Home in Beaver Dam, KY wit Bro. Charlie Taylor officiating.  Burial will be in Echols Cemetery near Rockport, KY.  Visitation will be from 4-8PM Wednesday and from 9AM until funeral time on Thursday at the funeral home.  Online condolences may be sent to bevilbrosfuneralhomes.com
