BEAVER DAM – Thomas Anthony “Tom” Woods, 61, of Beaver Dam passed away at his home surrounded by his family on March 14th, 2026. He was born in Philadelphia to the late Kathleen Harvey on June 16th, 1964.

Tom was a member of Barnetts Creek Baptist Church. He was a former Ohio County Sheriff’s Deputy and transportation director for Ohio County Board of Education. He was a lover of bluegrass music, auctions and cooking.

In addition to his mother, he is preceded in death by his father, Bob Woods; one brother, Michael Woods; and the love of his life, Jennifer Whittaker Woods.

Those left to cherish his memory are his sons, Jordan Woods and Jesse (Emily) Woods; two grandchildren, Truitt Woods and Aubrey Woods; siblings, Sandie (Charlie) Minton, Linda Woods and Steve (Mandy) Woods.

A memorial service will be held Wednesday, March 18th, 2026 at 2:00 PM at Bevil Bros. Funeral Home in Beaver Dam with Aaron Whittaker presiding. Friends may visit with the family from 10:00 AM until the time of service. The family would like to extend a special thanks to Hospice of Ohio County for their care and compassion.
