HARTFORD-Stephen Walter Phipps, 56, of Hartford died Friday August 25, 2017 at his home in Hartford. He was born in Hartford to Anna E. King Phipps and the late Walter Pendleton Phipps. Stephen was a farmer and enjoyed fishing, bow hunting and music.
Survivors include his mother Anna Phipps; a sister-Karen (Marty) Vance; a brother-Charles Russell (Sharon) Phipps; his aunt-Katheryn (Wendell) Maddox; 3 nephews and 2 nieces; 1 great niece and 6 great nephews.
Services are 3:00 P.M. Monday at Bevil Bros. Funeral Home in Beaver Dam officiated by Bro. David Coleman. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery in Hartford. Visitation will be from 2-3PM Monday at the funeral home. Online condolences may be sent to bevilbrosfuneralhomes.com
