Shirley Ann Dowell

Beaver Dam Ky - Shirley Ann Dowell, 79 of Beaver Dam passed away Wednesday, February 2nd , 2022 at home surrounded by family and loved ones. She was born on February 19th, 1942 to the late Bert and Alder Baggarly.

Shirley was retired from the Ohio County Detention Center after 20 years of service.  Shirley was a member of Pond Run Baptist Church near Beaver Dam.

Aside from her parents, Shirley is preceded in death by her Husband, Justin C. Dowell and one son, Anthony “Tony” Dowell and four Brothers; Neal, Bud, Lenny, and James Baggarly.

Left to cherish her memory are two Daughters; Lisa J. Dowell and Pamela R. Dowell. One Brother; Billy Baggarly. Shirley also had 6 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.

Services will be held on Monday, February 7th, 2022 at Bevil Bros. Funeral Home in Beaver Dam at 1pm with Bro. Lealin Geary officiating. Friends may visit with the family from 11am to 1pm. Burial will follow at Pond Run Cemetery.
