Scarlett P. (Payton) Lindsey

Olaton- Scarlett P. Lindsey, 77, passed away Monday, Feburary 18, 2019, at her home.  She was born in Peking, Illinois on August 4, 1941, daughter of the late Alvey and Lucille Smith Payton.

Scarlett was a member of Olaton Baptist Church and was a homemaker.  She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband Winston Lindsey in 2004 and daughter Shelia Lindsey in 2017.

Survivors include her daughters Marica (Jeff) Crabtree and Colleen (Chris) Crabtree; grandchildren Caleb Lindsey, Molly (John) Burden and Holly Lindsey; great grandchildren Kaiden Abney, Skyler Burden and Jaxson Burden; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services are 2:00 p.m. Saturday, February 23, 2019, at Bevil Bros. Funeral Home in Beaver Dam with Bro. Bobby Renfrow and Bro. Earnest Whitely officiating.  Burial will follow in Olaton Cemetery.  Friends may visit with the family from 4-8 p.m. Friday and 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
