Robert L. Brock
July 16, 1940 — August 1, 2016
Centertown- Robert L. Brock, 76, passed away Monday, August 1, 2016, at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. He was born July 16, 1940, in Pike County, Indiana, son of the late Cloyd and Dorothy Rock Brock.
Robert was an electrician for Peabody Coal Company and worked at Riverview , Alston Surface and Camp 11 Mines. He attended Rockport Baptist Church, enjoyed traveling, 4-wheeling and playing with his grandchildren. He was a member of Local 2305 of United Mine Workers of America and the NRA.
Robert was preceded in death by his sister Charlotte Goodall and her husband Glenn Goodall.
Survivors include his wife Electa Fulkerson Brock, son Barry (Susan) Brock, daughter Karen (Bryan) Pearl, grandchildren Bronson, Eden, Lauren, Jake and Allison, brothers Donald (Linda) Brock and Richard (Myra) Brock.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday, August 4, 2016, at Bevil Bros. Funeral Home in Beaver Dam with Bro. Charles Brownd officiating. Burial will follow in Smallhous Cemetery.
Friends may visit with the family from 4-8 p.m. Wednesday and from 12:00 Noon until 2:00 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
