Nellie (Pose) Sharp

HARTFORD-Nellie Pose Sharp, 98, of Hartford died Wednesday, December 29, 2021 at her home.  Nellie was born in Point Clear, Alabama to the late Emanuel  and Nellie Dana Pose.  She was a homemaker , a member of Masonville and No Creek Homemakers and Hartford Women’s Club.  She was preceded in death by her husband C.W. “Jiggs” Sharp, Jr., 2 daughters, Suzanne Nash and Rebecca Sharp, a son, Gary Sharp; 3 grandchildren, David Sharp, Debra Nash Gleghorn and Betsy Sharp.

Survivors include 8 sons-Bubby (Rose) Sharp, Larry (Sandra) Sharp, Murray (Lisa) Sharp, Bobby (Janie) Sharp, Barry (Joy) Sharp, Brian (Sandy) Sharp, Chris Sharp and Jeff Sharp; 2 daughters-Pam (Bill) Alexander and Jackie Westerfield; 33 Grandchildren and 44 Great Grandchildren.

Services are 1:00 PM Sunday January 2, 2022 at Bevil Bros. Funeral Home in Beaver Dam.  Burial will be in Owensboro Memorial Gardens.  Visitation will be from 11AM-1PM Sunday at the funeral home.  Online condolences may be sent to bevilbrosfuneralhomes.com
