Mona Ree (Ashby) Gahn

Hartford- Mona Ree Ashby Gahn, 93, passed away Tuesday, February 12, 2019 , at Signature Health Care in Hartford.  She was born December 23, 1925 daughter of the late Rupert and Flossie Williams Ashby.

Mona was a member of Waltons Creek Baptist Church and was a retail clerk for most of her life.

She was preceded in death by her first husband T.J. Bennett, her second husband Alfons Georg Gahn, her sister Ona Forrest and a nephew Phillip Gahn.

Survivors include her sister Nancy Gahn; nieces and nephews Herman Gahn, Jr., Rev. Ronnie Forrest, Dinah Howard, Cheryl Patton, Jeff Forrest and Greg Forrest; caregivers Tim and Dana Daugherty.

There will be a memorial service at a later date. Arrangements are by Bevil Bros. Funeral Home in Beaver Dam, KY
