Michael Eugene Dye

Horse Branch-  Michael Eugene Dye, 69, passed away Sunday, May 19, 2019, at the Ohio County Hospital surrounded by his family.  He was born May 22, 1949 son of the late Rollin and Thelma Vaughn Dye, in the Dimple Community of Butler County.

Mike was a member of the Caneyville Church of Christ, was a bus driver for Ohio County Schools for many years, was a big fan of Bluegrass Music and loved playing his guitar and singing.

He was also preceded in death by his brother James Clay Dye.

Survivors include his wife Priscilla Mae Dye; son Phillip Eugene Dye (Tracy); daughter Angela Kaye Embry (Philip); 5 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild; brother David Dye; sisters Jonelle Woolen, Penny Lindsey, Darlene Clark, Bonnie Vincent and Elaine Southard.

Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, May 22, 2019, at Bevil Bros. Funeral Home in Beaver Dam with Jarrod Jacobs officiating.  Burial will follow in Antioch Cemetery.  Friends may visit with the family from 4-8 p.m. Tuesday and from 9:00 a.m. until funeral time Wednesday.
