Mary A. (Hicks) Stancil

LEITCHFIELD-Mary A. Stancil, 58, formerly of Hartford, died Wednesday October 23, 2024 at OHRH in Owensboro.  Mary was born on December 11, 1965 in Dundee, Kentucky to the late Vernon and Reba Wells Hicks.  She loved visiting with her grand baby, helping Veterans at Christmas, UK basketball and she was of the Baptist Faith.

Survivors include her husband-Jacob Stancil; her daughter-Emily Evans and her fiancé Joshua Hulsey; 3 brothers-Carl Hicks, Earl Hicks and David Hicks; a sister-Judy Hicks; granddaughters-Caroline Hulsey and Katherine Hulsey; nieces and nephews-Melissa Valdez, Bryan Hicks, Anna Belcher, Rebekkah Belcher, Olivia Belcher and Jaxon Belcher; several cousins.

Services are 1:00PM Friday at Bevil Bros. Funeral Home in Beaver Dam with Bro. Carl Vanover and Bro. Jerry Cotton officiating.  Burial will be in Macedonia Baptist Church in Falls of Rough, Kentucky.  Visitation will be from 9:30AM until funeral time at the funeral home on Friday.  Online condolences may be sent to bevilbrosfuneralhomes.com
