Marjorie Ruth (Wilson) Renfro

LOUISVILLE-Marjorie Ruth Wilson Renfro, 80, of Louisville formerly of Beaver Dam died Wednesday August 10, 2016 at Signature Health at Glenview in Louisville. Marjorie was born in Decatur, Alabama to the late Reverends William H. and Veder Jane Wilson. She grew up in Louisville and graduated from Ahrens High School. Marjorie married Thomas Renfro on December 7, 1956. Together they pastored Horse Branch Church of God and Eminence Church of God. While living in Beaver Dam Marjorie worked at Beaver Dam Deposit Bank where she retired in 2001. After the death of her husband in 2012 Marjorie moved back to Louisville where she attended New Covenant Church of God.
Survivors include 2 daughters-Karen Renfro of New Albany, Indiana and Tonnie Renfro of Louisville, Kentucky; 3 sisters-Louise Crain of Horse Cave, Kentucky, Frances Lamb of Louisville, Kentucky and Pauline Sawyer of Louisville, Kentucky.
Services will be 3:00 P.M. Saturday August 13, 2016 at Bevil Bros. Funeral Home in Beaver Dam, Kentucky with Rev. Don Combs officiating. Burial will follow in Sunnyside Cemetery in Beaver Dam.
