Marjorie Lee (Montgomery) Condit

Centertown- Marjorie Condit, 98, passed away Sunday, Feb. 19, 2017, at Ohio County Hospital. She was born in Centertown May 21, 1918 , daughter of the late Nathan C. and Julia Stroube Montgomery.
Marjorie was a homemaker and was active in the Ohio County Homemakers. She loved animals, especially Red Birds. She had a love of music and square dancing and really loved her flowers.
She was preceded in death by her husband Walter “Red” Condit and her brothers Van, Jim and Norwood Montgomery.
She is survived by cousins, nieces and nephews and Caregivers: Linda and Keith Whitten, Jeannie and David Everly, Paula and Terry Smiley.
Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 22, 2017, at Bevil Bros. Funeral Home in Beaver Dam with Sister Mary James and Bro. Roger Taylor officiating. Burial will follow in Walton Creek Cemetery.
Friends may visit at the funeral home Tuesday from 4-8 p.m. and Wednesday from 9-11 a.m.
The family request that expressions of sympathy take the form of contributions to Hospice of Ohio County. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
