Larry Gene Woods

POWDERLY-Larry Gene Woods, 63, of Powderly and formerly of Centertown died Thursday December 13, 2018 at Owensboro Health Muhlenberg Community Hospital in Greenville.  Larry was born in Pahokee, FL to Frances Dixon Woods and the late Otis Woods.  He was a retired coal truck driver and had been a past member of Centertown Volunteer Fire Department for 10 years.  He was preceded in death by his first wife Vonda J. Woods.

Survivors include his wife-Marilyn Daniel Woods; Mother-Frances Dixon Woods; Sons-Larry (Hannah) Woods and Justin (Barcley) Woods; Daughter-Becky (Mark) Hoskins; Step sons-Daniel (Heather) Nolen and Kevin (Jessica) Nolen; Brothers-James (Catherine) Woods and Terry (Michelle) Woods; Sister-Faye (Curtis) Mosley;  7 Grandkids-Keegan, Heather, Brayden, Payton, Alora, Scarlett and Evangeline; 7 Step-Grandkids-Gomer, Brianna, Ayden, Brayden, Jordan, Ryder and Isaiah.

Services are 1:00PM Monday at Bevil Bros. Funeral Home in Beaver Dam with Bro. Bryan Fulkerson and Bro. Larry Woods officiating.  Burial will follow in Daugherty Family Cemetery in Centertown.  Visitation will be from 4-8PM Sunday and from 9AM until funeral time on Monday.  Online condolences may be sent to bevilbrosfuneralhomes.com
