CENTERTOWN – With deep sorrow, the family of Kathy Killman Allen, 69, of Centertown announces that she passed away on September 11th, 2026. She was born on January 15th, 1957 to the late Pete and Christena Killman.
Kathy was a businesswoman. She owned and operated Images Day Spa in various locations for over 30 years. She was a mentor to many beginning hairdressers over the years. As busy as that kept her, she also made time to provide countless free haircuts for people in need with no means to pay. Her community was important to her and she served it in various capacities, including as a Sunday school teacher to various age groups and a manager at Beaver Dam Ballpark where two of her sons played.
Kathy was a dedicated daughter and a supportive sister and wife. Her love for her children and grandchildren was immeasurable. Truly she was a large part of the force that held our large family together. Our successes are thanks, in no small part, to her hard work. We feel her loss. We will miss her drive, creativity and fire. We can find a little comfort knowing she found a paradise worthy for her and we will just wait until the time comes to be together again. The reunion, we all know, will be beautiful and perfect.
She is preceded in death by her son, Kyle Allen; parents, Pete and Christena Killman; brother, Kevin Killman; and nephew, Alec Trover.
Those left to cherish her memory are her husband of 46 years, David Allen; children, Michael Allen, Samantha Shae Allen, and John (Samantha Jo) Allen; grandchildren, Josslyn, Khloe, Henry, Faith, Macy, Ruby and Mark Allen; sisters, Kelly Trover and Korey (Greg) Weathers; along with several nieces and nephews.
Services will be held Wednesday, September 16th, 2026 at 2:00 PM at Bevil Bros. Funeral Home in Beaver Dam with Dr. Glenn Armstrong presiding. Friends may visit with the family from 10:00 AM until the time of service at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Lonestar Cemetery.
