John David White

CROMWELL-John David White, 69, of Cromwell died Tuesday December 12, 2017 at Ohio County Hospital.  John was born in Hartford to the late Leslie B. and Alma Haynes White.  He was a member of Green River Baptist Church and served in the U.S. Army.  John’s passion in life was his Grandchildren and helping others.  He was preceded in death by 2 brothers-Hershel White and Leslie “Smiley” White.

Survivors include his wife of 47 years Edna Jane White; 2 daughters-Kimberly (Chad) Greenwell and Jonaka (Jared) Hall; 2 brothers-Paul Hines and James White; 7 Grandchildren-Drake, Audrey, Ayla, Brantley, Corbin, Grady and Arbor.

To honor John’s wishes there will be a private family service at Bevil Bros. Funeral Home in BeaverDam with Bro. Glenn Armstrong officiating.  Burial will be in Green River Baptist Church Cemetery in Cromwell.  The Family requests expressions of sympathy take the form of contributions to Green River Baptist Church Children’s Ministries or Ohio County Board of Education for Southern Elementary Family Resource Center in Memory of John White.  Online condolences may be sent to bevilbrosfuneralhomes.com
