Jeane Wade

HARTFORD-Jeane Wade, 91, of Hartford, died Sunday, May 19th, 2024. She was born November 14th, 1932 in Hartford to the late Ellis Baize and Viola Simpson Baize. She was a homemaker. Carroll and Jeane were married September 14th, 1952 and were co-owners of Wades Body Shop in Charlestown, Indiana, along with Western Auto and Old Town Pawn both in Hartford, Kentucky.

She ministered the love of God to everyone she met. She loved to travel with her husband from Canada to Mexico in their motorhome.

She is survived by her husband of 71 years, Carroll V. Wade; son Dennis (Dorothy) Wade; daughter, Diane Lee; three grandchildren, Aaron Wade, Amie Wade, and Dustin Lee; seven great-grandchildren; and her fur-babies, White Paws, Moochie and Blackie Girl.

There will be a graveside service at Oakwood Cemetery on Tuesday, May 21st, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. with Faye Allen officiating. Bevil Bros. Funeral Home, Inc. is in charge of arrangements.
