Arlona “Jackye” Magan

OLATON – Jackye Magan, 67, of Olaton, KY, passed away on Saturday, February 23, 2019, peacefully at her home. Jackye was born in Ohio County on June 14, 1951 to the late Jack and Maxine Davis. Jackye worked for Peabody Coal Company and later worked for state and local government before retiring in 2010 to enjoy life, her family, and serving through church ministries.

Jackye is survived by her children, Jarrod (Katie) Magan of Drummonds, TN, and Jason (Jessica) Magan of Olaton, KY, and five grandchildren: Jocelynn, Cooper, Lillian, Elijah and Brody Magan; half brother-Mitchell (Diane) Davis of Greenville.

Funeral services will be held at Bevil Bros. in Beaver Dam on Tuesday, February 26, 2019, at 12 Noon with burial services following at Axton Cemetery in Olaton. Rev. Larry Embry will be officiating.  Visitation will be held on Monday, February 25, 2019, at Bevil Bros. from 4-8PM and Tuesday February 26, 2019  from 10AM until funeral time.  Online condolences may be sent to bevilbrosfuneralhomes.com

In lieu of flowers, the family requests expressions of sympathy be in the form of donations to Cedar Grove Baptist Church.  Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
