Jackie Dean Bartlett

HARTFORD – Jackie Dean Bartlett, 89, of Hartford passed away Monday, July 28th, 2025 at Signature Healthcare of Hartford. He was born June 13th, 1936 to the late Forrest and Pauline Bartlett.

Jackie retired from Peabody Coal and was a faithful member of Hartford Church of Christ. He loved spending time with his family, reading his Bible, going to church and travelling.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Carolyn Coppage Bartlett and two brothers, Earlcie and Bobby Bartlett.

Those left to cherish his memory are his daughter, Lynn Snodgrass (Benny) of Centertown; son, Paul Bartlett (Gail) of Owensboro; six grandchildren, Sarah Scoggins (Darren), Shaine Snodgrass (Tiffany), Samuel Snodgrass, Allison Muensterman (Eric), Jamie Howard (Ari), and Sydney Howard; and eleven great-grandchildren, Cristen Scoggins, Darren Scoggins, Jr., Lydia Snodgrass, Alyssa Snodgrass, Jagger Snodgrass, Isabella Snodgrass, Sadie Snodgrass, Justin Howard, Joy Howard, Anna Muensterman, and Ada Howard.

Services will be held Thursday, July 31st, 2025 at 1:00 PM at Bevil Bros. Funeral Home in Beaver Dam with Bro. Rodger Chaffin officiating. Friends may visit with the family from 10:00 AM until time of service at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Oakwood Cemetery in Hartford.
