Gene Mellott

Hartford-  Gene Mellott, 73, passed away Sunday, March 18, 2018, at Ohio County Hospital.  He was born in Centertown, KY September 9, 1944 to the late Cloyd Rankin and Alta Marie Blanchard Mellott.

Gene was a farmer and a member of Beaver Dam Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife Anna Lois Mellott; sons Neil (Doris) Mellott and Cody (Sarah) Mellott; daughter Kailoni (Jim) Naue; 4 grandchildren Dalton (Miranda) Mellott, Pepper (Drew) Farris, Zander Naue and Zaiden Naue; 2 Great grandchildren Maverick Mellott & Mason Farris; brother Cloyd Rankin Mellott, Jr.”Jack”; sisters Frances (Jay) McClure, Phyllis Scherrard & Sue Minton

Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, March 23, 2018, at Bevil Bros. Funeral Home in Beaver Dam with Bro. John Cashion officiating.  Burial will follow in Oakwood Cemetery in Hartford.

Friends may visit with the family from 4-8 Thursday and from 9-11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.
