Gena Rhea (Simpson) Thurman
June 22, 1983 — February 23, 2017
Centertown- Gena Rhea Thurman, 33, passed away Feb. 23, 2017, at her home. She was born in Owensboro on June 22, 1983.
Gena had worked at DSSA . She was preceded in death by her mother Sheila Barnett.
Survivors include her father and step-mother Gene Simpson and Sandra Daugherty. Sons James Rhineburger and Nathan Thurman, daughters Emily and Lucy Thurman, sisters Stacy Simpson and Angie Padgett(Darrin).
Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 25, 2017, at Bevil Bros. Funeral Home in Beaver Dam with Bro. Scott Fleener officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Carmel Cemetery.
Friends may visit with the family from 9-1 Saturday at the funeral home.
