Beaver Dam- Gary B. “Slick” McCown, 67, passed away June 6, 2017 at OHRH . He was born in Stanford, KY on September 5, 1949, son of the late Clyde E. and Mary E. Barron McCown.
Slick was a member of Oak Grove Church of God and worked as a logger.
He was preceded in death by his wife Louise McCown and son Jeff McCown.
Survivors include his son; Brian McCown, brothers; Clyde McCown, Michael (Kimberly) McCown, Wendell McCown and Kenneth (Sherry) McCown; sisters Vickie (Dwight) Mink and Bernice Kirby;; 5 grandchildren Autumn, Adam, Jake, Briar and Keyona McCown.
A memorial service will be held Friday, June 9, 2017, at Oak Grove Church of God at 2:00 p.m.. Bevil Bros. Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
