Florence Smith

HARTFORD - Florence E. Smith, 90, of Hartford, Kentucky passed away at Med Center in Bowling Green, Kentucky on December 31st, 2024. She was born in Hartford on September 8th,1934 to the late Joseph Duke and Faye Felty Carson.

Florence was a member of Hartford United Methodist Church. She was artistically creative and enjoyed art and cooking.

She is survived by her husband, James Franklin Smith, Jr.; daughters, Rebecca (Mike) Clauson and Mary Ann (Kevin) Wilson; grandchildren, Jonathan (Chey) Wilson, Joseph (Tasha) Wilson, and Laura (Craig) McKenna; and 4 great-grandchildren.

Services will be Saturday, January 4th, 2025 at 2:00 pm at Bevil Bros. Funeral Home in Beaver Dam, Kentucky with Bro. Keith Page officiating. Burial will follow in Oakwood Cemetery in Hartford, Kentucky. Friends may visit with the family at the funeral home from 11:00 until time of service.
