Edward L. Geary, 86, died May 18, 2015 at Cypress Grove Rehab Center in Newburgh.
He was born in Grayson County, Kentucky to the late Henry and Mada Berkley Geary. Mr. Geary retired from Whirlpool in Evansville where he worked in the machine shop, he served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict having the rank of Sgt 1st Class he received 2 bronze stars and a purple heart.
He was preceded in death by a granddaughter-Courtnee Wilson(2014).
Survivors include his wife Joyce Patterson Geary of Newburg, Indiana; a son-Robin Geary of Olaton, Kentucky; a brother-Elmer Geary of Yeamen, Kentucky; 1 granddaughter-Erin Geary and 2 great grandsons-Bryson & Payton Wilson.
Services are 1 p.m. Thursday at Bevil Bros. Funeral Home in Beaver Dam conducted by Bro. Vernon Veteto. Burial will be in Sunnyside Cemetery in Beaver Dam, KY.
