Edna Mae Curtis

HARTFORD – Edna Mae Curtis, 73, of Hartford passed away September 1st, 2026. She was born July 16th, 1953 in Ohio County to the late Dallas T. and Marion Stephens Curtis.

Edna was a very religious woman and very involved in her church. She enjoyed attending church singings. Edna was a secretary for most of her working life where she worked at Mile’s Farm Supply for over 20 years and for Ray Johnson and Dorothy Brown at Ohio County Board of Education. She was also a school bus monitor for the Ohio County Board of Education.

She is survived by a niece, Joyce Decker Pierce; and a nephew Tony Curtis; and her friend for 24 years, Douglas Tichenor.

A graveside service for Edna will be held at 10:00 am on Saturday, September 5, 2026, at Lone Star Baptist Church Cemetery in Centertown with Bro. Kenny Shepherd officiating. Online messages of condolence may be sent to bevilbrosfuneralhomes.com.
