Dorothy Isabelle Mckee

Dorothy Isabelle McKee, age 88, passed away on March 6, 2017 at Signature Health Care in Harford, KY.
She was born on May 21, 1928 to Dwight and Hazel Barrett Beard in Newark, Ohio. She married the love of her life, Bill McKee, on October 3, 1947 and they were blessed with two sons, James Clyde (Jim) and Clifton David (Clif). She was a dedicated employee of Beaver Dam Deposit Bank for 15 years, as well as devoted housewife. She was an active member of Beaver Dam Church of Christ for many years and enjoyed spending time with her family.
Dorothy is survived by her loving husband, Bill, two sons, Jim and wife Susie of Beaver Dam, KY and Clif and wife Leesa of Hartford, Ky. She is also survived by her brother and sister, Jim Beard and Betty Merakian, both of Akron, Ohio. She was also blessed with three grandchildren: Matt McKee (Sarah) of Beaver Dam, KY, Myra McKee of Henderson, Ky and Justin McKee (Angie) also of Henderson, KY as well as four great-grandchildren.
As per her request, there was a private family burial. Bevil Bros Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
