Donald Sandefur

BEAVER DAM-Donald Sandefur, 76, of Beaver Dam died Friday September 9, 2016 in Louisville, Kentucky.  Donald was born in Beaver Dam to the late Glendon and Louise Pirtle Sandefur.  He graduated from Beaver Dam High School, was owner of Sandefur’s Excavating, a member and Deacon at Beaver Dam Baptist Church.  He was also preceded in death by mother-in-law and father-in-law Earl and Kayo Bevil.

Survivors include his wife of 55 years Diana Kay Bevil Sandefur; 2 sons-Paul (Tracy) Sandefur of Beaver Dam and Lane (Deanna) Sandefur of Beaver Dam; a daughter-Terri (Tony) Minton of Beaver Dam; a brother-George (Olive) Sandefur of Beaver Dam; 4 sisters-Mary (Monty) Leach of Beaver Dam, Dortha Coots of Beaver Dam, Linda Sandefur of Hartford and Janice (Gary) Hill of Dixon, Kentucky; 7 grandchildren-Davis Sandefur, Spenser Cook, Cheyton Pendley, Trey Sandefur, Camden Sandefur, Riley Minton and Coburn Sandefur; 3 brothers-in-law-Jerry (Judy) Bevil of Hartford, Larry (Kathy) Bevil of Cromwell and David (Jackie) Bevil of Woodburn.

Services are 2:00 P.M. Tuesday at Bevil Bros. Funeral Home in Beaver Dam with Bro. John Cashion and Dr. Glenn Armstrong officiating.  Burial will be in Sunnyside Cemetery in Beaver Dam.  Visitation will be from 3-8PM Monday and from 9AM to 2PM Tuesday at the funeral home.  The family requests expressions of sympathy take the form of contributions to Hospice of Ohio County.  Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.  Online condolences may be sent to bevilbrosfuneralhomes.com
