Dennis A. Uthe

HARTFORD-Dennis A. Uthe, 76, of Hartford passed away peacefully Saturday, April 27, 2024 at The Heartford House in Owensboro surrounded by his family. Dennis was born in Iowa Falls, Iowa to the late Arthur and Helen Thielen Uthe.  Dennis served in the U.S. Army from 1967-1972 and was an expert marksman,  He was a superintendent of carpenters for Insul Acoustics and after moving to Ohio County built his own home.

Survivors include his wife of 54 years  Vivian Neal Uthe; a son Shawn Uthe (Jena Deskin) of Hartford; 2 daughters-Kimberly (Burt) Brink of Arcadia, California and Shannon (Rudy) Macias of Simi Valley, California; a brother-Carrol Uthe of Canyon Country, California; 7 grandchildren-Travis Shelton, Ty Shelton, Todd Shelton, Drake (Hanna) Uthe, Curtis Macias, Kiley Macias, Allen Uthe; 1 great grandchild-Dawson Dennis Uthe.
