David White

HARTFORD – David Lawrence White, 76, of Hartford passed away August 31st, 2026 at Ohio County Hospital surrounded by his family. He was born in Lake County, Indiana on January 5th, 1950 to the late Gobel and Letha Sizemore White.

Dave was a former chef and owner of Hogg Brother’s Café in Anchorage, Alaska; Sportsmen’s Café in Madisonville, KY and most recently, Capers Café in Hartford, KY. He also worked at Ohio County Hospital as a neurology technician for many years.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a sister, Glenda White Rich.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Kim White; sons, Timmy (Christy) Gray and Kevin Gray; grandchildren,Parker (Madisyn) Gray, Connor (Emilee) Gray, Emerson Gray, Cody Gray, Audrey Gray; one great-grandchild, Adler Gray; sister, Phyllis (Jerry) Klym of Hendersonville, TN; brother, Kevin (Teri) White of Dothan, AL, along with several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held Sunday, September 6th from 1:00 PM until 4:00 PM at the Ohio County Community Center with Bro. Paul Ralph officiating. Bevil Bros.
