Carol Jean (Patterson) Cox

Carol Jean Cox, 78, of Mt. Juliet, TN, passed away Friday, August 30, at Lebanon Health and Rehabilitation Center.  She was born January 20, 1946, to the late Howard and Lucille Patterson.  She is survived by her loving husband of 60 years, Wendell Cox.  Carol attended church at Lake Providence in Mt. Juliet.  She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.  She enjoyed socializing with her many friends at the Del Webb community and playing games at the club house.  Carol had a true passion for traveling and visited many countries around the world with her husband. Carol was a proud member of the Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR).  She worked as a Registered Nurse for 26 years serving in many roles in several different facilities.  She retired from Camelia Home Health in Mississippi in 2012.

In addition to her parents, Carol is preceded in death by her son-in-law, Kevin Prindable.

Those left to cherish her memory include her husband, Wendell Cox; daughters, Sandy Prindable, Debbie Morton (Cary); grandchildren, Alec Prindable, Eli Prindable, Sam Morton (Jenna), Drew Morton, Caribeth Morton; great grandchild, Henry Morton.

Visitation for Carol will be at Bevil Bros. Funeral Home in Beaver Dam, KY on Friday, September 6th from 4-8 PM and Saturday, September 7th from 9-11 AM with the funeral service following at 11.  Burial will follow at Sunnyside Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Alzheimer’s Foundation (alzfdn.org).
