Doug was a World War II veteran serving in the European Theatre as an Artillery man with the 28th Infantry Division.

Services are 3:00 P.M. Wednesday at Bevil Bros. Funeral Home in Beaver Dam conducted by Rev. Mike Atkins. Burial will be in Centertown Cemetery in Centertown Kentucky. Visitation will be from 2-3PM Wednesday at the funeral home.
