Billy Joe Alvey

BEAVER DAM-Billy Joe Alvey, 85, of Beaver Dam died Wednesday June 12, 2019 at his home.  Billy Joe was born in Hartford to the late William A. and Bessie Irwin Alvey.  He was preceded in death by his son Michael J. Alvey.

He was an electrician, a veteran of the U. S. Air Force, a member of the American Legion #0055 and UMWA.

Survivors include his wife, Martha Alvey; a daughter-Vicki Bartlett(Glen);daughter-in-law Lollie Alvey: 5 Grandchildren-Donny Alvey(Jessica), Daniel Alvey, Natalie Buchanan(Bryan), Carissa Wethington(Aaron) and Caleb Bartlett; 7 Great Grandchildren-Dylan Alvey, Emma Alvey, Asa Buchanan, Abby Buchanan, Ally Buchanan, Myles Wethington and Lincoln Wethington.

Services are 2:00 P.M. Monday at Bevil Bros. Funeral Home in Beaver Dam with Rev. Mike Atkins officiating.  Visitation will be from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm Monday at the funeral home.  Burial will be in Sunnydale Cemetery.
