Beverly Sue Ward

BEAVER DAM, Beverly Sue Durham Ward, 79, formerly of Centertown passed away May 7th, 2025 at Ohio County Hospital. She was born in Centertown to the late Richard Kelly and Essie Irene Durham.

After 20 years, she is back in the arms of her one true love and in that we can find comfort and joy. Her love was truly unconditional. She was an amazing wife and MuMu, an awesome mother, a fantastic grandma and an irreplaceable great-grandmother, but know in your heart that tears and grieving are for the ones left behind. She is finally free from the chains that bound her in this life and strolling hand-in-hand with all those who have gone before her. God bless her and God bless us all.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Alan Keith Ward; and brother, Robert Kelly “Bob” Durham.

Those left to cherish her memory are her son, David Ward; daughter, Lana Phelps; 7 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren; brother, Jerry Durham; along with several nieces and nephews.

Services will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, May 17th, 2025 at Bevil Bros. Funeral Home in Beaver Dam. Friends my visit with the family from 10:00 am until time of service at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Centertown Cemetery. Online condolences may be sent to bevilbrosfuneralhomes.com.
