Betty M. (Muffett) Shultz

HARTFORD-Betty M. Shultz, 84, of Hartford died Monday, January 15, 2018 at Signature Health Care in Hartford. She was born in Fordsville to the late Byron Daniel and Mary De Marlow Muffett. Betty was a cosmetologist most of her working life owning her own beauty shop at Dundee. She also worked at GE in Owensboro, was a door greeter at Beaver Dam Wal-Mart and worked at state campgrounds. She was a member of Narrows United Methodist Church and Dundee Eastern Star. She was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years William Edward Shultz and a grandson Robert W. Shultz.
Survivors include a daughter-Nakaiah Lynn Shultz (John) Higdon of Hartford; 3 sons-William Benton Shultz of Hartford, James David (Ami) Shultz of Lewisburg and Robert Joe Shultz of Hartford; 7 Grandchildren; 13 Great Grandchildren; 6 Great Great Grandchildren.
Services are 11:00 A.M. Saturday at Bevil Bros. Funeral Home in Beaver Dam with Bro. Clyde Schaffer officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery in Hartford.
