Arthur Ray Moseley was born December 1, 1929 and expired on June 29, 2015. He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Leva Moseley; brothers; Stoy, Roy, Thurman, Herman, and James; sisters, Paulean, Emajean, Gracie (Hall), Ruby (Fulton) and Gladys (Lyons); a grandchild, Jeremy Moseley and two great grandchildren, EJ Mosely and Jackson James Lee.
He is survived by his wife, June Phyllis (Bishop) Moseley of 63 years; children, J. Glenn Moseley (Phillis) of Chattanooga, TN, Ron Moseley of Walnut Ridge, AR, Ed Moseley (Pat) of Newburgh, IN; Phyllis (Moseley) Smith (Nate) of Evansville, IN and Mitch Moseley of Evansville, IN; siblings, Kenneth Moseley (Juanita) of Steger, Il, Richard Moseley of Crete, IL, and Mary (Moseley) Lindsey of Beaver Dam, KY; 15 grandchildren, Brian, Deanna, Chad, Jason, Tim, Tammy, Daniel, Rebekah, Andrew, Robbie, Kathy, Carolyn, Elisabeth, Grayson and Angelika; 16 great grandchildren, Mysty, Ashlynn, Chase, Reagan, Marisa, Juliana, Tonya, Nikki, Tyler, Preston, Juliet, Josephine, Tucker, Christopher, Lucy, Layla, and many nieces and nephews.
He served in the US Army from 1951 - 1953 where was stationed in Washington D.C. during the Korean war to guard the city, including during President Eisenhower's inauguration and parade. He was an equipment operator for SIGECO for over 35 years. He was a member of The church of God in Beda, KY where he served as ABM (Small Group) Leader, Deacon, and Sunday School Superintendent. He enjoyed gardening, fixing cars, gospel music, playing guitar and watching vintage TV shows. He attended Bible Training Institute in Owensboro, KY.
Funeral Services are at 11 a.m. Friday at Bevil Bros. Funeral Home, Beaver Dam, KY. Visitation is 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday and 9 to 11 a.m. Friday.
