Angela Rae (Hoover) Hudson

HARTFORD-Angela Rae Hudson, 99, of Hartford passed away Tuesday September 11, 2018, at Dogwood Estates surrounded by her children.  She was born in Ohio County to the late George Arvin and Josephine Helm Hoover.   She was the oldest living member of Hartford Christian Church.    She was preceded in death by her husband R.C. Hudson; her brothers-G.A. Hoover, Jr. and Darrell Thomas “Tommy” Hoover and her sister, Juanita Coppage.

She loved her family and her church.  She loved to travel but also took great pride in making a home for her family.

Left to cherish her memory include her son-Richard C. (Libby) Hudson; 2 daughters-Angela Kaye (Glenn) Miller and Cherita Gaye (Mike) Flener; grandchildren, Andy (Melissa) Miller, Angela “Angel” Boyken, Critt (Jenny) Hudson, Ian (Jessica) Flener and Ashtin Flener and great grandchildren, Matthew Boyken, Marshal Boyken, Elizabeth Miller, Olivia Miller, Michael Truschke and Grace Hudson. The family wishes to thank the staff at Dogwood Estates for the kind and loving care they provided.

Services are 11:00 A.M. Friday at Hartford Christian Church with Bro. David Cordrey and Bro. Scott Parker officiating.  Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery in Hartford.  Visitation will be from 4-8PM Thursday at Bevil Bros. Funeral Home in Beaver Dam and from 9AM until funeral time Friday at the church.  The family requests expressions of sympathy take the form of contributions to Hartford Christian Church, 122 Walnut Street, Hartford, KY 42347, envelopes will be available at the funeral home.  Online condolences may be sent to bevilbrosfuneralhomes.com
