Alma (Phelps) Geary

HARTFORD-Alma Geary, 94, of Hartford died Sunday February 26, 2023 at her home.  She was born in Highview, Kentucky to the late Everett  and Lelia Bryant Childers Phelps.  Alma was owner of Granny’s Country Crafts, an avid quilter and a member of the Daughter’s of the American Revolution and a member of Ridgecrest Baptist Church.  She was preceded in death by her husband Seabury Lee Geary.

Survivors include 2 sons-Richard L. Geary and Charles R. (Kim) Geary; 3 daughters-Markeda Tichenor, Rita Eskridge and Betty S. (Robert) Miller; a brother-Jerry Phelps; 13 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.

Services will be 1PM Wednesday March 1, 2023 at Bevil Bros. Funeral Home in Beaver Dam with Bro. Greg Hillard officiating.  Visitation will be from 10AM until funeral time Wednesday at the funeral home.  Burial will be in Sunnyside Cemetery in Beaver Dam.  Online condolences may be sent to bevilbrosfuneralhomes.com
