Olaton- Ada Mae Poole Hardesty, 80, passed away Monday, December 05, 2016, at Fordsville Nursing and Rehab in Fordsville. She was born in Hartford on March 31, 1936 daughter of the late Stephen A. and Eula Lee Black Poole.
She was a member of Fairview Baptist Church, taught Sunday School at Mt. Carmel and Concord Baptist Church, enjoyed gardening, reading, woodworking and playing with her grandbabies.
Survivors include 2 sons: Kenneth (Debbie) Hardesty of Utica and Josh Randall (Fara) Hardesty of Hartford, 1 Daughter: Katherine Hardesty Myers of Philpot, 7 Grandchildren, 12 Great Grandchildren and 2 Great Great Grandchildren. 2 brothers: Steven (Wanda) Poole and Ike (Jeannie) Poole both of Benton, KY.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 7, 2016 at Bevil Bros. Funeral Home in Beaver Dam with Bro. Charles Brownd officiating. Burial will follow in McCord Cemetery near Rosine.
Friends may visit with the family from 4-8 p.m. Tuesday and from 9:00 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
