My condolences to your family. I'm Linda's oldest friend from kindergarten through our graduation from Ahrens High School and then being friends until and after her marriage to Mike. I was in their wedding.
Our last conversation was on her birthday. Linda meant a lot to me, and I am so sad that we didn't get to see each other but just a few times over the years. I am so sorry for your loss.

Rebecca and Gina,
You do not know me but I knew your mother and your father at a very young age. I am one of the younger grand children in the Ally and Lula Owens family. My father was Earl Owens, your great-grandparents 3rd child. I have such fond memories of your mom and dad. Your mom told a fantastic and thrilling ghost story to us little cousins at the Owens family summer reunions. I was easily less than 10 years old at the time; but I believed every single word in her stories; it was the highlight of every family gathering. When your father died, my heart ached for your mom though I was just a young twenty-something. I always sensed an unshakable love between them. Though time and choices have taken me far from KY, your parents will always hold a special place in my heart. May Linda rest peacefully now. Sending up prayers to both of you during this tender time. It is with great sorrow I read about the death of Linda Owens. She was the wife of my favorite male cousin and one of, if not the, sweetest, most loving person I have ever met. I hope her family will take some comfort in knowing how much she was loved.

I am so sorry to hear about Linda. She was a very special lady to me. When I lived in Beaver Dam, there was a group of us that had supper or coffee together several times a week. So many good memories and laughs. She was always ready to help anyone . She will be missed by many. Prayers for the family at this very difficult time.
