Jerry had been a devoted friend for more than 50 years. I can truly say that he was one of the finest men I ever met. Jerry always had that ready smile and warm handshake or gentle hug for everyone. He and Clint Taylor, soul mates, were inspirational models for our Dundee community and especially Dundee School. The two were outstanding, honorable, Christian men who loved coaching the Junior Pro teams. The parents and players revered and respected them immensely. I will miss my dear friend, Jerry, and him saying, "Hey, how are you doing"? Love and prayers for Kristie, Holli, Jimmy, Terry, Ada Lou and families.
Much love to all and comfort in your treasured memories. Xxxxxxxxxxoooooooooo

Dear Kristi and family, So sorry for your loss. You are such special people. My prayers are with you during this time of both sorrow for your loss and the celebration of a life well lived. May your sadness be overshadowed by the memories you have of your dad and grand dad and the love you have from friends and family. Blessings, Alan

I enjoyed watching Mr. Baxleys interaction with his grandchildren either at the preschool or the library. He was a true role model for what grandparents should aspire to be. I know your hearts will miss his presence in your life. This quote by Ralph Waldo Emerson reminds me of him! “To laugh often and much; to win the respect of intelligent people and the affection of children; to earn the appreciation of honest critics and to endure the betrayal of false friends. To appreciate beauty; to find the best in others; to leave the world a bit better whether by a healthy child, a garden patch, or a redeemed social condition; to know that even one life has breathed easier because you have lived. This is to have succeeded.” You are all in my prayers, Edie
