Mimi as I called her was such a wonderful woman she meant so much to me. I knew from the first day she came to us we were going to be best friends. She wasn't related to me by blood but she was my grandma, my Mimi. She would tell me and all the other RA's that I was her favorite 2nd shift girl. If someone done something the wrong way she sure didn't hesitate to tell them that either. Lol. I will never forget her long talks with me and all the prayers she prayed with me. She told me I don't like praying out loud but I'll sing a prayer with you and she did. She had a beautiful voice. Fly high with the angels Mimi. I love you. Until we meet again

Vicki and family, I am so sorry for your loss. I remembering meeting Mrs. Burgess when I first came back to Ohio County, she was working at Rice Drugs. Loved to go in there and talk to her. My prayers are with you and family during this very difficult time. She will be missed . Prayers for all the family. Love to all
