Ernest "Ernie" Triplett

BEAVER DAM-Ernest “Ernie” Triplett, 67, of Beaver Dam died Thursday May 17, 2018 at The Heartford House in Owensboro.  He was born in Newcomerstown, Ohio to the late Lewis and Grace Butler Triplett.  Ernie worked as a carpenter for Donnellys in Glasgow and BCI in Owensboro.  Ernie attended Morehead University where he played football.   He enjoyed sports especially basketball, football, fishing, golf & drag racing.  He was a member of Longview General Baptist Church and the Fraternal Order of Police.  He was a very outgoing person and loved family get togethers.

Survivors include his wife, Carolyn Baize Triplett of Beaver Dam; 2 sons-Todd Triplett of Louisville and Luke Saylor of Owensboro; a daughter-Robin Saylor of Horse Branch; a brother-Tom Triplett of Newcomerstown, Ohio; 8 grandchildren.

Services will be 1:00 P.M. Monday at Bevil Bros. Funeral Home in Beaver with Bro. Terry Tarrence officiating.  Burial will be in Mt. Zion Cemetery near Beaver Dam.  Visitation will be from 4-8PM Sunday and from 9AM until funeral time on Monday at the funeral home.  Online condolences may be sent to bevilbrosfuneralhomes.com
