Wendell Tichenor

CENTERTOWN-Wendell Tichenor, 75, of Centertown died Tuesday October 18, 2016 at his home.  Wendell was born in Owensboro to the late Donnie Tracy and Dula Mae Ball Tichenor.  He was retired from Hartford Standard, enjoyed hunting, fishing, UK basketball and was a member of Central Grove Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife of 56 years Barbara Rippe Tichenor; a son-Barry (Tammy) Tichenor ; a daughter-Tina (Luke) Maze; a brother-Roger Dale (Olga)  Tichenor; 3 sisters-Reba (Larry) Carter, Belinda Bullock and Louise Maddox; 7 Grandchildren-Scotty Tichenor, Tyler Tichenor, Seth Tichenor, Brian Walker Tichenor, Tia Small, Jordan Snyder, Ashley (Beau) Wright, Shania Maze;  Great Grandchildren-Kaleb Snyder, Haleigh Snyder, Lainey Snyder, Peyton Wright, Paisley Wright, Phoenix Wright, Ayla Jackson and Zeke Jackson.

Services are 1:00 P.M. Friday at Bevil Bros. Funeral Home in Beaver Dam with Bro. Mike Tichenor and Bro. Chris Lewis officiating.  Burial will be in Central Grove Cemetery near Centertown.  Visitation will be from 4-8PM Thursday and from 9AM until funeral time Friday at the funeral home.  Online condolences may be sent to bevilbrosfuneralhomes.com
